He was one among those early quantum scientists who understood the fundamental laws of universe that we are governed by the nature in sub-atomic level by just observing the experiences within the confines of his own body. (He termed them as Kalapas, by the way there was no Atomic Force Microscopy or Transmission Electron Microscopy or any of these science & technology, its 6th century!) All the rest that we have learnt so far as a commoners is just the extrapolated versions of his discoveries wrapped in a shiny sheets and research papers under medals, Nobels and so on…
It’s so weirdly comical to see ourselves in quest to seek and understand the very same from the outside world, but look how miserable we all are?
The emptiness will always echo
to the depths of our shallow lives.
It’s not our wrongdoing.
It’s not from the failure of our quest
for life’s meaning.
It is from those unattended,
unfulfilled subconscious seeds
that we kept burying deep down
for lifetimes we lived for,
away from all those flash flood surge
reminders that kept knocking
at our doors to water.
We got scared of being drowned
in pain again, that might make us suffocate,
so we just called them infatuations
and threatened to sue-it, cased ourselves
in mystic places with the notion
that trading oneself to the far ends
of time and space would lead us
to a peaceful separation, with
fruitful, nutty cheesecakes topped
with sweet, cold snowflakes
from the black-and-white world
that we ploughed through, with
trophies from our life games,
which we played with our colored
spears that looked cool enough
to inflate our ego spheres,
but big enough to burst with a
slight hush from the winds of fear.We will be stuck in this infinity loop
of glimpses until we realize the need
to open the door, the door of wisdom
within each of us, and plough those
seeds of our souls that we once ignored.
I guess that’s what he was trying to say.
Buddhism is not a religion. Gautama the buddha gave his teachings of Dhamma (The law of the universe, universal truth) to everyone and helped them understand according to their ability to grasp the knowledge, regardless of their gender, caste or creed. He never asked them to be his followers or to form another sect. It’s all made-up by us.
If I have to guide you to the simplest version (I’m not saying easiest) of the above message with Hollywood orchestrations, then here it is: Do you remember the climax from the movie Matrix Revolutions? Where Neo ends the fight between Zion and the machines by agreeing to fight Smith in exchange for peace. Only Morpheus knew and believed that Neo can help them win the war. At the end of fight, Neo stops and surrenders. It was then that he gets the powers from which he outbursts and kills Smith (Sentinet, Sentinels). It is not about the protagonist killing the villain. If you really have the curiosity, then pinch a few flakes of your intellect on it and try to see through the film reels for the real truth that’s forged in the movie. It is one of the most advanced movies of its time and still is, and will be, I guess.
BTW, that’s where I got the idea for my tattoo GEO inspired by NEO. It’s an anagram of EGO. Which means one can only be free and liberated only upon unlearning and to see, accept the world (i.e, GEO) without EGO. That’s quite a big & hefty three lettered word reminder for me to comprehend the thin line of difference between “I want everything” to “I’m nothing but everything”
Some of us prefer to learn
from the universe-city libraries,
and some of us prefer to learn
from the vast universe library.
But if we have the ability
to keep an open heart & mind,
we all can meet in the middle
for a good debate to build
a fair and a great life.
